CUSTOM BUILDS

CUSTOM OPTIONS FOR CYCLOPS AUDIO BUILDS
Need particular I/O options or have an idea to further customize an existing Cyclops Audio design? I’m always more than open to this sort of thing and would love to hear your ideas.
An increasingly popular mod is to have a 2nd set of switchable output transformers added to the build. This is a cool way to create further tonal options available right from the front panel.
Custom decals & lettering are also available upon request. Our panel artist is quite talented and happy to accommodate you.
RACKING YOUR CHANNELS
Need some vintage API or RCA cards racked? This is something I can do for you. I take rack jobs on a case-by-case basis so if you have an idea, please shoot it my way and we can discuss. It’s almost always worth getting “golden era” channels of high value properly restored and racked for modern use. These usually blow the doors off modern designs sonically and also retain their value much better once restored.
I get a lot of requests for racking lower dollar/value channels (TEAC, RAMSA, Soundcraft, etc.). These are generally not a great or cost-effective thing to have done. Between the cost of enclosures, parts, caps, power supplies and THEN the R&D/labor needed to properly machine a unique panel, ground & re-engineer the circuit, etc. it’s often way more expensive than it’s worth. It’s difficult to justify the expense for channels that don’t have much inherent value. There are sometimes exceptions of course, so if it’s worth it to you, give me a shout and we can always discuss further.
